Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the American is an actor, comedian, and activist. She was born to Jewish parents in the Soviet Union and started her career as a child actor after she moved to the United States. From 2013 until 2016 she was the AT&T salesperson Lily Adams, and since 2020. She rose to fame for her roles in television commercials. The commercials she appeared in were not her only activity she did. She was also a part of the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also played the role of a regular character in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub is also the voice of Squirrel Girl in the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after she was cast as the character in the unaired television pilot for New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish, born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents, who were at the age of two, came to America to escape antisemitism. They were settled in West Hollywood. She began performing in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five, due in part to the family's financial troubles. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School, however, she quit after her sophomore year, she was able to get a GED and went to pursue an Associate of Arts in Communication at the University of California, San Diego. Vayntrub studied improv in the Upright Citizens Brigade.
